What is Standard scoring in fantasy football?

Standard scoring, also called non-PPR, is a format where receptions are worth zero points and value comes from yardage and touchdowns.

Standard scoring (non-PPR)

In standard scoring, catches are worth nothing on their own, so production depends entirely on yardage and touchdowns.

A receiver with 5 catches for 60 yards and no touchdown scores 6 points in standard — the same as if he'd caught one 60-yard pass. Because catches don't count, standard leagues favor goal-line running backs and big-play receivers over high-volume slot players.

  • Typical scoring: 1 point per 10 rushing/receiving yards, 1 point per 25 passing yards.
  • 6 points for a rushing or receiving touchdown, usually 4 for a passing touchdown.
  • Receptions: 0 points (this is the defining difference from PPR).
