The experts can't agree

Wide expert ranges among players inside the top 100 overall rest of season. Disagreement calls for more research; it does not establish another manager’s asking price.

Before making a buy-low or sell-high offer

  1. Check target share, red-zone usage and snap counts. A poor score and a lost role are different problems. Confirm that the statistics cover the current season.
  2. Read the latest injury report and rest-of-season rank. A rank fall does not prove a temporary setback, and expert disagreement does not predict a scoring range.
  3. Compare the actual offer in the trade analyzer. Account for who enters your starting lineup and who replaces the players you send away.

Starter bands for this screen: QB14, RB30, WR36 and TE12 in PPR. No assumption is made about your league’s roster requirements. Doubtful, out, IR, PUP and suspended players are excluded from trade-candidate screens. Questionable players require an availability check. Source windows can be approximate; the Index suppresses comparisons that cross a source epoch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a player a buy-low candidate?
The LeagueLogs Market Index rank fell at least four spots over its available seven-day comparison window while the FantasyPros rest-of-season consensus still puts the player in our positional starter range. This is a research screen, not evidence of a lower asking price or an unchanged outlook. Check recent usage, injuries and the other manager’s actual offer before calling the player a bargain.
What makes a player a sell-high candidate?
The Market Index rank rose at least four spots over its available seven-day comparison window and is at least eight places better than the FantasyPros overall rest-of-season rank. Both use FantasyPros inputs, so this is disagreement between related models, not an independent market-price signal. A sale only makes sense if the actual return improves your roster.
Why does 'the experts can't agree' make someone a trade target?
A wide range tells you that experts disagree about the player’s rest-of-season rank. It can be worth investigating why, but it does not tell you what another manager believes or will accept. Use the displayed range as uncertainty context, then ask about the actual trade price.
How do I actually make the trade?
Use the public trade analyzer to compare the proposed package, then consider starting-lineup upgrades, replacement players and roster space. Connect your Sleeper or ESPN league for league-aware tools. Other managers decide whether to accept an offer.
