What is Superflex in fantasy football?

Superflex is a lineup format with a flex slot that can also start a quarterback, which lets teams play two QBs and makes the position extremely valuable.

Superflex (SF)

A superflex slot accepts a quarterback in addition to RB/WR/TE, so most managers start two QBs and the position becomes scarce and valuable.

Because QBs out-score other positions and you can now start two, elite quarterbacks fly off the board early in superflex — often several in the first round. A team without a second startable QB is at a real weekly disadvantage, so QB depth becomes a core part of roster construction.

Superflex is increasingly the default for serious dynasty leagues. The format adds strategy at quarterback that single-QB leagues lack, where you might not draft a QB until the middle rounds.
